As of now we do not have any reported incidents of any artisans associated with our partners affected by the Coronavirus. However Vikas Mission has closed their vocational training centers on March 22nd till mid April as per the advisory from the local administration in Central and Northeast India. Also the leather artisan groups are sheltering at home.
On March 24 the Indian Prime Minister has locked down India for three weeks and gave citizens only a couple of hours warning before announcing: "Every state, every district, every lane, every village will be under lockdown."
